# Welcome to the Science and Ethics Council

### Purpose

The Virtual World Society Science and Ethics Council is a group of experts exploring issues related to the fields of AI, XR, Virtual Words and beyond. We have four main tracks at the moment.

* Listening Tours and Ethical Engagements
* Futures -- The Future of X { Money, IP, Communication }
* Hardware and OS -- Safety, Ergonomics and Accessibility
* Content -- Safety and Social Impacts

These groups are collaborating on writing 1-2 page briefs on a variety of topics. Each is meant to introduce its subject to non-experts and become a launcpad for deeper information.
